Review: Keep Quiet by Lisa Scottoline

So I just finished a book that I really enjoyed, and am excited to share it with you guys! It’s Keep Quiet by Lisa Scottoline. I’ve read a few of her books before, and have generally enjoyed them.

Keep Quiet is about the Buckman family – Jake, Pam, and their teenage son Ryan. One night while Jake and Ryan are out, tragedy strikes. I won’t post any spoilers, but something terrible happens, and the book is all about them trying to cope with what happened while also covering for themselves. A major theme of Keep Quiet is deciding how far you would go to protect your family and I found myself contemplating this a lot. The story was also very believable – it is definitely something that could happen in real life, and to anyone. There are plenty of twists and turns throughout which definitely kept it interesting. It was a fairly quick read and the ending was satisfying.

I would definitely check this out if you enjoy thrillers and suspense. The pages turned quickly and I was anxiously waiting to see how it would end. A definite winner from Ms. Scottoline! Now, excuse me while I start my next book to review…..
